Nicole
Ms. Anderson, Senior, is President of National Honor Society (NHS) and Band member. As President of NHS, Nicole works with other NHS members and Faculty Advisor Mr. Osborn on activities to implement and fundraising initiatives. As a Band member, this senior plays several instruments: trombone, bass drum, snare drum and symbols. She teaches cadences to the drum section as well.
Her favorite class is English, which may come as no surprise once you know that she is a talented singer who write her own lyrics! Her NUMBER ONE school is Berkelee School of Music in Boston, Mass. With encouragement from faculty members, Nicole is applying to other schools where she can pursue music, such as Loyola, Smith, New School and NYU. She plans to double-major in Music Business/Management and Electronic Production. Her work in music is already in progress - she is involved in the organization The Roots of Music. Based in New Orleans, The Roots of Music pulls from New Orleans' strong culture and history to work with at-risk youth through music education, tapping into and enhancing the participants musical talents. Nicole Anderson is active in Clark Prep and the New Orleans community, actively working towards her future, earning her the Student Spotlight. Congrats, Nicole!
